Claire Sivier

I am an Arts & Cultural Producer, Facilitator and Researcher working between the UK & Portugal with over 10 years experience of delivering high-quality collaborative music and cross-arts projects aimed at engaging a variety of communities, artists, audiences and stakeholders. My work has a particular focus on learning and participation, and creating space for those from marginalised communities. The international projects I have led over the years range from large scale gigs, shows, tours, and ensemble programmes, to festivals, community engagement, exhibitions, artistic residences, public art interventions, project evaluation, artist liaison and youth arts facilitation. I am currently a member the InterStruct Collective; a network of international researchers and artists working across socially engaged projects, and have guest lectured at Falmouth University, England. In 2020 I completed a master’s degree in Art & Design for the Public Space at the University of Porto where my research focussed on arts-based research, walking art practice, identity, migration, and interdisciplinary working within arts cultural work contexts.

As well as projects highlighted on this site, past and present projects have included work with:

Youth Music, Numbi Arts, Music for Youth, Love Supreme Festival, Croydon Music & Arts Service, LSO Discovery, EFG London Jazz Festival, Sound & Music, WOMAD festival, Barbican Creative Learning, Associazione Culturale (Italy), Rich Mix, Hackney Empire, Wiltons Music Hall, Progression Sessions, The Vortex Jazz Club, & New Slang Productions (Changing State)
