Legado dos Sentidos - Saturday 1 September, 2018
Legado dos Sentitos was a culmination of the project, Local, Meet International, a partnership project by Artemista (Italy) and Raizvanguarda (Portugal) exploring have exploring methods to engage communities in rural spaces.
The event took place in Casa das Coletividades, (Arganil, Portugal) a new renovated prison, now is being used as an Arts and Cultural space and combined the mediums of theatre, instillation and music. Starting in the municipal square and leading to Casa das Coletividades, the audience were led by two narrators, and had the chance to meet and interact with characters, stories and experiences inspired by a series of interviews conducted with the community living in Arganil and surrounding the surrounding villages.
